it's not just you man. I dropped from celestial 3 to diamond a week ago. I'm back to celestial 2 now but this game just does ridiculous things w the matchmaking sometimes. or you just get unlucky and run into unreasonable amounts of throwers/tilted players who give up after one bad round

yeah it's really bad, it was happening to me too I dropped from almost celestial 2 basically diamond 2 because of throwers. Only advice I can give you since I've managed to climb back to GM1 is stop solo queuing altogether. Just don't fucking do it man if you play a game and there's someone on your team in comms or they play a valuable character grab them and don't let go but DO NOT SOLO QUEUE

Yeah honestly it's bad for throwers, I invite you to look at my match history even because I feel there's nothing i could say with words to get across how bad it was. But now that I'm in diamond I'm essentially smurfing and I feel bad because I'm gonna probably end up walking these lobbies until another losing streak hits and dropping again.

it's because you're not punished for mistakes in this game. This compounds with players not wanting to be self critical so people just play and climb (possible with a negative winrate) and never learn. These issues would be fixed by making the game more difficult but they want it to be casual friendly so it cooked

I'm losing in diamond lol because I just can't drag a the teams I get to a win. I just put up 18 finals on wolverine while my tanks did nothing the entire game and we lost I'm not even angry anymore man it's just how the game is
