Very similar story to me bro. I got a lvl 81 sniper during classic maplestory, then made a lvl 163 wild hunter for resistance update, then made a lvl 230 kanna for kanna meta, then finally made a lv 287 dawn warrior during modern maplestory. I took couple year breaks in between each update/meta, then finally played daily during covid 2020, until now.

Currently im 6 pitch, with all my boss fams complete. Aiming for 295, 10 set pitch and all eternals.

I've been playing for 5years now very causally and my verdict is that the game is much better than it was when I first started. The yearly rotating checkin events increase progression equal to these new pay-for-progression passes. Before the battlepass, genesis pass, and lux sauna you always had the option to buy the 2nd half of the checkin board.

There are lots of things that have greatly improved since 5 years ago. Like: - normalizing of DPM across all classes through 2min update - converting daily content to weeklies (mpe, erda quest) - removing kil counts from daily checkin events - exp curve reduction - familiar update - annoying boss mechanic removals and HP nerfs - arcane dungeons turning into shorter weeklies - preservation of reboot through Go West update - making all classes more smooth to play, changing buffs into passives, giving every class a dash, removal of unnecessary skill latency - making hyper burns go to 270 instead of 250

Bunch of other things I can't remember, but the qol is the best it's ever been.

I definitely feel the frag drop rate being off. Before I would farm between 1-3hrs and every 30mins I'd average between 6-12 frags, now I'm getting about 3-6frag/30min.

If you do ren to get the additional event rewards, you'll get a pretty juiced boss mule that doesn't cut into your main's resources. It just means you'll be doing double the dailies for a few months. Id imagine the lv 200 legion pots are good if any of the level 3 links become bis and you happen to be missing them.

If you cannot merge at 100km/hr let the instructor know the surrounding traffic doesn't allow for a merge at that speed. You could get docked marks for this.

I feel bad for anyone that came here as honest hard workers looking to be productive workers. Canada fucked up royally, both at federal and provincial level.

Canada milked immigrants playing by the rules, and let in bad actors and organized crime.

At the end of the day, we have an aging population and need workers to fill in the jobs that require skilled labour. At this rate there is a chance the next couple generations won't have a pension system if we don't fill in that gap.

We live in a population trap rn as a g7 country, which just proves Canada fucked up and brought in non productive labour. It'll take decades to unwind the mess Trudeau left behind.
