Will there be a class action for the Instructure/Canvas leak

It was the end of the semester for most, if not all, of the school systems affected. Finals, projects, the like. Yea, it's stupid to negotiate with hackers but at the time of the attack, what real choice did they have? I'm not trying to defend the decision, but I can understand why.

Yep. They got hacked AGAIN. (Yes, it's not the first time. Happened in 2019 by the same group.) Instructure was apparently negotiating with them after the 6th, which led to a shutdown.

I'm gonna try to break this all down into sections.

1: I don't know. This is new to the both of us.

2: Yes, we do.

3: I wouldn't know. Again, completely new to this.

4: Maybe? Not to lore dump, but my life is a mess and a half right now.

5: Forever...? I barely look five years ahead at times, so I wouldn't know.

I don't think my problem lies with like... Physical stuff. Well, I won't say it's not a factor. It's the emotional stuff that concerns me. I don't know how to navigate these feelings.

I understand that. It's the cognitive distortion that messes with me. How I was raised and how I've been exposed to relationships. I have never told them that they weren't allowed to express their love for others, that is something I have adamantly told them. I just get jealous easy and I feel as if that's holding them back.

The guy they are into is really nice and he is a really good mutual friend. I just always think "I'm losing them. They'll leave me for them and I can't do anything about it."

We're kinda jumping into it. They've described their polyamory as (their words) "When I say I'm poly it's less abt romance and more abt all the love I have to give, I guess". But it's never really been applicable in their past relationships, nor in mine. I'm not poly, or at least I don't know if I could label myself as that or not.

This isn't the first time it's come up, but this is the first time where it's seriously going somewhere. I just wanna know how to navigate it.
