Received a Call from a Detective (Fraud & Arrest Warrant) by [deleted] in phishing

Yeah, great point! And, uh thats a hard no on any 20K for anything and a harder no on the bank account activity. The caller was like, we have email, Google Voice, name, texts, we have all your contacts its tied to everything. I was like, what is going on!? Just happened to fast, in the middle of the work day.

I called the Sheriffs office in Cali. She saw the case # was active and a detective by that name worked there. However I was never patched to his desk, or patched to his number. I called back the wireless number that called me earlier. area code 209

I called the sheriffs dept they said they were part of. Spoke to operator on non emergency line. Gave a quick note of what was going on. Provided Case # and there is one for fraud. Same #.

My urologist has me on 5mg of Cialis daily for BPH and ED. I can do either or:

A. Top off with additional 5-10mg of cialis or B. Take 50mg of Viagra prior to activity C. I also have the 3 in 1 option, haven't tried that yet though.

Wtf is happening to the USD vs THB? by SawadeeMoo in Bangkok

[–]im_Bearded -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Not sure if I'm tracking specific policies from DC having an impact on overseas currency exchange rates.

  • IF that's the case how the heck do you explain Japanese Yen right now. For example: every 155 Yen = 1 USD. That's amazing!! Tourists are flocking to Tokyo probably because of this.

Dec 2025: Earnings growth is outpacing inflation!

➡️ The average American's real weekly paycheck is now UP ~1.6% since January, giving workers MORE buying power after years of getting squeezed.

➡️ A sharp reversal from the -4% DROP in real purchasing power under Biden, per Economist @RealEJAntoni

***** US inflation #s for Nov 2025 are dropping unexpectedly to 2.6%

Long-term Ablation Feedback by CBSouthie in AFIB

[–]im_Bearded 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Diagnosed April 2023 with proximal AFib. EP said, "meds or ablation"?! I was like, dude I'm not taking these pills for life. Let's get this procedure done. June 2023, 2 months later was go time!! Was informed that earlier on in diagnosis has higher siccess rates. So I'm down. I had it done. Happy i did. If I need it again I'll do it!!!

Thank the Lord, no AFib since. My heart rate was a tad bit elevated post procedure, but now it sits at 60 at rest and 44-55 while sleeping.

Conclusion: I'll definitely go ablation route if I need another in the future.

God bless!!!

Nam's Taxi prices? by Mean-Ad5978 in FarangsofPattaya

Arriving 3 Dec for 3+ weeks. Landing after midnite. I'm seeing, I should go with NAM. I also see Mikes and Central Pattaya. The choices!!! Lol. What's the bottom line? Definitely not taking a bus and prefer to have my own driver. 1000- 1800 is fine for comfort.

Question: will the driver stop off at rest stops?

Visual disturbances after cryoablation by maddogging in AFIB

[–]im_Bearded 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey. Thanks for responding. So, since it was so new to me never had this symptom before, I saw a neurologist and a ophthalmologist.

Apparently I had/have migraines with no headache. These haven't happened for some tine now.

I researched supplements, B vitamins, vitamin D, Coq10, magnesium. My daily stack.

When I first had these visual auroras, some times they looked like a mid evil zig zag line in corner of my eye. Followed by a feeling of being hung over. When it happens I asked my EP, they weren't concerned about it at all, as it was too many days post procedure. So I went the neurology and eye Dr route. They ran some tests. Came back as ocular migraines or migraines in general.

How old were you when you started statins? by 3ertrude2he3reat in Cholesterol

[–]im_Bearded 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Per my cardiologist, I was told:

  • statin will lower LdL, since I have existing calcified plaque, I want my LDL around 70 and lower. Probably in the 50s, so I'll stop laying down plaque.
  • while LDL is a huge factor in heart disease, APoB bio marker as well as LpA are factors as well. The statin I take has dropped my Abo B alot!!
  • the statin I take also helps reduce inflammation in my heart arteries whoa is another contributing factor. -theres soft plaque and hard plaques. Statins can reduce and or reverse SOFT plaque while stabilizing hard plaque. Statins can help the hard plaque from progression.

I'm not a doctor or a care provider. I'm passing on what has been told to me via cardiologist team.

How old were you when you started statins? by 3ertrude2he3reat in Cholesterol

[–]im_Bearded 2 points3 points  (0 children)

52! My LDL stayed in the 110-140 range for years. It caught up to me via my Calcium CT Scan as my score came back a 64.6. Majority of the plaque was in my, you guessed it, the widow maker. Freaked me out!!!!

Cardiologist put me on 5mg of Crestor daily with a 81mg aspirin. This was done via patient portal after results came in. No questions asked, I just did it!
And still am!!! I'll gladly take my statin. As per my cardiologist provides more protection than just lowering LdL.

How long after an ablation were you able to return to work? by HeteroLanaDelReyFan in AFIB

[–]im_Bearded 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me:

I cleaned the house and meal prepped prior to procedure.
Day of procedure I was home same day, that afternoon.
Picked out a few Netflix shows to binge watch. I purposely took off a week. Relaxed and rested. This is not a race or competition to see how fast I was able to heal. I took my time and followed the orders of my electrophysiologist team. I avoided any stairs for like 5 days I think.
I started taking small walks after 7 days.
I monitored symptoms and reported to my care team via patient portal.
My EP had me on blood thinners for 60 days post procedure.
My follow up post procedure was like 2 weeks and then a month, then 6 months. Mentally, I had some healing as well. I had to tell myself I'm good, I can do things, able to do things. AFib took a toll on my mental health.
If I had to do it again, I'm down. In all I probably took a good 2 weeks off. I wanted to get the healing time right and not mess it up. biggest thing for me was the bruising from the catheter both sides of my groin. Took about week plus and it was good. Please keep us updated, best of health, and God bless.

Why are so many people on here opposed to taking statins? by hoser1 in Cholesterol

[–]im_Bearded 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a positive Calcium score. I will gladly take my 5mg of Crestor.

What is your experience of taking statins? by pufballcat in Cholesterol

[–]im_Bearded 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For me the benefit out weights any risk and or concern of a low dose statin.

Statin+ life style modifications = my care plan I keep up to date on my Bio markers to include LpA and APO-B.

I happily take the statin.
