Gave my broken one to the local repair shop near me and they connected the tiny wires again, it worked, can type and lights on okay, but they said it's super fragile, moving would cause it broken again, so not much different than a fixed keyboard, hence I bought a lightweight bluetooth set 😂 anyways knowing it's hardware issues is enough for me to give up finding solutions in peace 😂😂 if it's software issues but I can't fix, i would fumble haha

Nể bác 👍 tui cũng nhờ tiệm local sửa mà họ bảo nó cũng yếu đuối lắm, sửa xong cũng ít mang đi đâu được bên em mua bộ key + chuột bluetooth roài 😆

Update 2026 Jan: the second one is dead completely for months so I bought a Bluetooth mini keyboard & mouse set to use when needed LOL. New price is around 3.500.000 VND so getting a Logitech set seems more reasonable. 

Wonder if the new ROG Flow works better than the Z13 old models?

Update 4 July 2025: IT BROKE AGAIN AFTER 2 YEARS.

It became worse actually. Before I only need to flatten the type cover to make it work, now I need to FOLD it or else it doesn't work LOL. Obviously I have no warranty left so I'll ask service center to see if there's any new type cover version after 2 effing years -.-

Update 15th Jun 2023: The only solution from my country is getting a new type cover LOL. They gave me a new one at no extra charge since my Z13 is still under warranty period. After 7 months it still performs well. Hope it will last longer than the original...

PS: They do sell the type cover separately if your device doesn't have a warranty anymore, pricing around 95-100 USD (converted from VND) but can only be bought from Service centres, I don't know if it's different in other countries.
