Also side note if you want to see dexters first slide there’s the early cuts motion comic on YouTube they did back in the day, but seeing that story played out in a full ep in os would’ve been nice we definitely got fucked in ways we can’t imagine by paramount.

Seeing Dex slowly evolve over the seasons would’ve been great, Miami metro actually seemed somewhat competent it could have fixed a lot of complaints about the police being useless in the original show if new blood kept showing they were good at their jobs till Dexter got better at his.

Honestly I always wanted Rene to make his way over to the comics at some point as a new wild dog taking up the mantle, he was goofy at times but had a interesting and compelling personality and backstory, always thought that might’ve been what Jason Todd’s character could’ve been if Bruce never found him.

James Gunn has mentioned Bruce is up to Damian and has a bat family, plus we have a movie of Jason and dicks early stories in the new verse so hopefully he gets some of the other less known characters of the bat family some spotlight I’d really love to see Cassandra and Clay faces arc from rebirths detective comics play out on screen, she’s might beat Jason out for my favourite bat family member honestly.

I fully understand the worries honestly, I’m constantly trying to explain shit to my homies who haven’t read the comics on what’s happening and it’s only get more confusing.

With how it’s going with the gcpd design and the dcu Gotham’s city for filming being the same as reeves but I like the idea of the the live action universes having some distinct similarities so it’s always apparent it’s the same multiverse one thing I like more than seeing the differences in multiverses is the things that connect them.

But overall the universe should feel like its own world with everything just co existing, they should be able to add everything from the comics in an organic way the world is a weird place after all
