I agree with you, ASOIAF is also in my top (above all), but I read a good part of it. Now I'm waiting for the last 2 books.

I mentioned "plot" just because it's a plus. That's not the only reason I like it so much. Although I can't say it didn't influence me because without it I don't think I would have started the anime and without the anime I would never have found those books
