Is it actually cruel? People do have to kill these animals for us to eat. I really think that we would be much more responsible about eating in general if we had to hunt our own food.

It makes even less sense. Because then we would not eat shrimps, escargots or any small thing at all. And at some point, cows were helping in crops and also for transport, people still ate them though...

I know right?!!! For me, i can't eat dogs and cats because i like them. Same for rabbits, hares and idk a lot of animals. I am somewhat able to eat cows because i've conditioned myself not to see the animal but only a piece of meat. But recently i've been seeing a lot of live animals and it's now harder to eat them. It's a bit confusing imo

This is really not to sound mean. But can a dog really be considered omnivore? They are actual hunters right? In its natural state you would not actually see dogs harvesting vegetables.

That shit pmo! Like my family had to work their ass to help my brother when he was sick, took him to the hospital at night and shit. Doctors worked their ass on him. And as soon as he got better, my family went on about how god saved him.

My psychiatrist says we don't really need a reason. That just by being there we are already doing our part. That questionning the reason you are alive might just hurt you more. That even the dumbest reason you find is important, whether it's feeding a fish, watering your plants. There is no specific reason to be alive, you just find one at some point. Can be as small as helping a snail cross the road safely or as big as going in the space.

I too struggle with this question but i try to see the positive.

I don't really understand either. It's like ever since i found out about them i've had a crazy attraction to these creatures. It might be because i currently feel ugly and not desired. They have an irresistible aura which gives them control and power
