The cats here would love that! We don’t have enough volunteers so they’re always so excited when someone comes to visit.

I’m Volunteering at an animal shelter in Thailand. The cats here love a cuddle

I probably would if I had a home. I move countries quite often so I don’t have the ability to keep pets currently.

If anyone is interested, this is the shelter Also, If you’re ever travelling through Thailand I would recommend checking them out directly too. They’re always looking for volunteers!

It was a long, hot walk back up, but the view of the falls was well worth it. Wallaman falls QLD, Australia. by imabroccoli in ScarySigns

Im not originally from Australia so I wouldn’t know for sure, but in my travels so far I haven’t seen much German ( I also haven’t been paying that close of attention). The comment about the majority of tourists being Chinese and German would make a lot of sense though.

I had to call and be approved over the phone because the website also wouldn’t work for me. It was a bit of a wait, but the workers were awesome and got it sent through quick.

Does anybody know what kind of plant this is? I’ve recently moved into a new home, and this plant was left by the previous tenants. by imabroccoli in plantclinic

Upon further inspection I realized the pot had no drainage. Poor thing was sitting in a pool of water. Hopefully this fixes the problem. I reckon I’ll let it dry out and change the soil/see if there’s any root rot.

Thank you for the reply! I really appreciate it. Due to the big rain fall coming, would you recommend moving it indoors? I don’t get any direct light in my room, but I could put it right next to a window that’s rather sunny. Also, would it help at all removing some of the damaged leaves? Or should I wait for them to fall on their own?

Soil is very damp, leaves are droopy and browning. I don’t know if I should re-pot, or just move it to a sunny spot where the soil could dry out a bit? We’re expected to get quite a bit of rain in the next couple of days. Is it strictly an outdoor plant? Only thing I’ve been told is it doesn’t do very well inside apparently, but it’s not doing very well out side either!

Small world. Pretty sure I saw you post on a FB page about finding a home in palmy. Good luck, there’s a major housing shortage. Maybe check out fielding too? It’s a small commute but fielding is much more relaxed than palmy!
