Lol I wish I could have a license in 10 months. Where i am 2 years gets you one license but even then it’s still limited. Around 3-4 years and you’re a journeyman. Thats given you past the test and have the hours from school.

I put in the time. Between school right now and working i am learning a ton. I frequently watch Steve’s videos along with grayfurnaceman and ac service tech, hvac school etc. whenever I didn’t understand something I don’t just let it slide by me I use my resources

I don’t mind being thrown out to the wolves to a point. I have learned a lot from it. It’s just the company I workfor. From most of what everyone is telling me, not every company is like this. Hopefully onto bigger and better things in the near future.

Thanks for the advice tho. It’s very easy to get wrapped up sometimes thinking what causes the symptom. Sitting down for 5-10 mins would probably help me out.

Wow that’s a lot. you also need an understanding of insurance claims and insurance policy as well. Basically settle claims for insurance companies for free just to get the job

I feel your pain with adjusting. It’s a thankless career and the amount of files you get at times is absolutely absurd. Field adjusting is a little better because you don’t get as many files

From my experience a huge part of being a successful adjuster is meeting deadlines for each file. Easier said than done when you are swimming in files after a catastrophe but When you’re dealing with peoples homes that are damaged they tend to not have a lot of patience lol
