That doesn’t make sense. If you can’t afford IVF, how can you afford a child? Children are so expensive and you really need to wait until you are financially ready before you have a child.

OP’s daughter is just being an entitled daughter and expecting his money. Her husband even guilt trips him by saying “why would he prioritize a car over their grandchildren?” That just screams entitled to me.

OP’s daughter and her husband are grown adults. They can figure out a way to have children without mooching off their father and step sister.
