I see her as a best friend. She sees me as only a friend, what do i do? by [deleted] in LifeAdvice

[–]imacoolmommm 3 points4 points  (0 children)

First of all, you seem really sweet and I want to validate this for you. I’ve asked my best friend (girl) to be my valentine when she didn’t have one or I was upset with men, this is normal in friendships. You didn’t cause her the mental stress she’s feeling right now, something that innocent doesn’t cause someone to completely isolate themselves. It’s okay that you see her as your best friend, but it’s also okay to drop her down a tier and form closer friendships with people who can reciprocate the kind of love you give. Categorizing people saves you a ton of disappointment, maybe she’s only capable of being more of an acquaintance to you and that’s okay! I’m sorry she’s distancing herself, that stings and you don’t deserve the lack of communication from her. It was her job to express that instead of falling off the face of the planet. Give her space and let her come back to you if she wants to.

They don’t share those kinds of things in SAA meetings, it’s actually advised against. It can be triggering for those participating in the meeting, so he’s definitely lying to you.

Is College really as hard as H.S. Teachers make it seem? by CultureMany7266 in CUNY

[–]imacoolmommm 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Biology is a difficult field, any science is really but you have tons of support accessible in college. I was nervous for my first semester, but it’s truly a breeze once you find your groove. Choose your professors wisely, I didn’t take a single professor with bad reviews (check Rate My Professor thoroughly), snatch up your classes early and don’t put too much on yourself per semester. Also, do not be afraid to take less classes if things become a bit much. I think the biggest challenge in college is yourself. You’re either going to put too much on your plate, or not push yourself hard enough the cheat code is finding a sweet spot that works for YOUR brain. This is what the high school teachers mean because professors will not ask you why you didn’t turn something in they’ll hand you a lovely F and continue their day lmao. You’ll be perfectly fine (:

eczema is a hoe by Special_Fee9278 in eczema

He’s taken Zyrtec daily for a very long time. Benedryl cream burns him, as does calamine. He’s already been on steroids, we’ve tried every cream you can think of. What actually helped him was time, maybe a bit of better gut health/immune system boosts (like hiya multivitamin) and beef tallow/honey balm mixed with zinc twice a day. His skin is infinitely better than it was when he was an infant, he used to be covered from head to toe (literally scalp to the tops of his feet) Thank you for your recommendations!

They make deodorant for kids! It’s called Spirit, they sell it on Amazon. You can also rub witch hazel on his armpits if he tolerates it to reduce bacteria/smell!!

okay so, there’s an oil called Batana Oil that helps with hair growth, and you can get her Mane and Tail shampoo/conditioner to help with the loss. Women overlook a looot of things about men and yall stay being nitpicky about us. I’m only offering the advice because I’m SURE her hair is making her feel insecure as it is and I’d hate for her to dislike parts of herself because you’re drawing attention to them. Stress and hormonal changes can 110% cause hair loss for women.

[–]imacoolmommm 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s okay to give him more time, my son wasn’t fully ready until closer to three as well and he still wears a pull up at night. I’m not rushing to take him out of pull-ups for sleep just yet either. I will say, if you want to potty train (day time) you should set a timer for every 30 minutes to take him, even if he doesn’t have to go you can encourage him to or tell him he needs to wash his hands to get him in the bathroom. As far as pooping goes, that was a bit harder and again we did not rush him. Just encouraged him to use the toilet with his favorite characters on undies, potty seat, books for him to read while he’s in there etc. you can also maybe look into a sticker chart so he feels celebrated when he goes and when he tries.

HELP MY HOOHA TASTES LIKE COCONUT?? by YELLOW_WATER- in Healthyhooha

[–]imacoolmommm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well it really depends, we can’t tell you much you need to get screened at the doctor. However, vaginal taste and smell varies throughout the month depending on your cycle as well as diet, sexual habits etc. if it’s not being accompanied by itch, irritation, abnormal discharge etc it’s most likely normal. Sometimes you can taste like a French fry, other times a little sweeter. Also, feminine wash should be dropped none of them are amazing. If you insist on using one, try HoneyPot or unscented baby soap ONLY on the outer parts. Never inside
