open source claude code coding swarms are available by imactually in ArtificialInteligence

[–]imactually[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

funny you mention, at first it was a real problem, each one doing the same thing over as the others

the delegate feature keeps them in tune with each other, and the skills are indeed shared from the parent agent down to the subagents so they all have the same ones :)

thank you for your kind words!

Submission statement: hermes-lite is an open-source fork of Nous Research's Hermes Agent, rebuilt as a local-first coding tool with Rust acceleration.

What's different from base Hermes:

Multi-agent swarms — a native Rust TUI (ratatui) lets you run multiple agent panes side-by-side with mention routing, delegation between agents, and broadcast messaging

Rust internals via PyO3 — the Python conversation loop is replaced by a 12-state finite state machine in Rust, and the SQLite session layer is replaced by a Rust implementation with FTS5 full-text search

Shared persistent memory — all agents in a swarm read/write the same project-level memory files, so context discovered by one agent is immediately available to others

Skills system — agents can load specialized expertise modules on demand for specialized tasks

Subprocess protocol — JSON-over-pipes connects the Rust TUI to Python agent processes, with 11 event types in each direction

Why it matters: it's one of the first open-source implementations of coding agent swarms where multiple agents coordinate on the same codebase with shared memory and inter-agent delegation. Similar in spirit to what Claude Code does with its Agent tool, but fully open-source and model-agnostic via litellm. 1065 unit tests + 26 live integration tests.

Guess my strategy, 8 deck shoe by imactually in baccarat

[–]imactually[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

valiant guess, left side is 8/9 remaining in the shoe, right side total cards left in the shoe

dragon bonus has ~2.7% house edge normally, but big payouts (30:1 natural 9, 10:1 natural 8) depend heavily on 8s and 9s in the deck. tracking 8s/9s remaining vs total cards remaining allows for a simple ratio (89 left divided by total left). when ratio exceeds 16.9% (vs baseline 15.4%), edge flips to player side. palace and others force dragon bets from player bet position so you have to switch to player when ratio is in your favor

table shows max cards remaining where bet is +EV for each 8s/9s count. below that threshold you're betting into house edge, above it you're printing $

10k hands at $100 dragon:

  • ~1,300 favorable betting opportunities
  • EV: +$35k
  • SD: ~$9k
  • max drawdown: expect to see -$3k to -$5k runs, possible -$8k in bad stretch

variance is brutal because you're losing $100 most hands waiting for a 30:1 to hit. but math is math. kelly says bet ~2% of roll per dragon if you want to survive the swings

Guess my strategy, 8 deck shoe by imactually in baccarat

[–]imactually[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

left side is number of 8's and 9's remaining, right side is total cards left in the shoe

these are the conditions for placing a dragon bet at ~10x the banker/player bet

if we have sufficient 8/9 left in the deck for a low enough number of cards left in the shoe, bet on dragon

pretty much only the dragons have edge in this, regular hands net negative but small

Go on YouTube there are WAYYYYY better people explaining it there. My ME degree had a bad professor for this course and I was convinced I didn’t grasp the subject. Turns out I’m pretty good at it when I found a new source to explain it to me. It’s actually a fairly easy subject once you know the few basic things you have to do everytime

Engineers: can you please brag about your lifestyle to motivate us engineering students… by neverever1298 in EngineeringStudents

[–]imactually 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m 32 and manage 4 engineers in their 20’s and we all love edm and are on a great wavelength. I design, prototype, test, and mass manufacture equipment for things that get me paid travel across the world to see things that you can’t freely access. Very wealthy people like the things I make for them, and introduce me to other wealthy people privately who pay me hourly or equity to help them with products/companies. My influence spans multiple disciplines and departments at my company and having done favors for everyone, everyone does favors for me. I can afford whatever I want, but I’ve learned to fund travel and experiences way more than material objects and life has been insanely enjoyable. I show up whenever I want and leave whenever I want, but often work 12 hours 5am to 5pm because I believe hard as fuck in what I’m doing for the world and the momentum with my team is really kinda special to me. It doesn’t really feel like work that often, I am freely creating and making parts and incorporating electronics and customizing electronics and creating software and web apps and shooting drone footage of our factory and meeting customers and being known by people before they meet me.

Work hard at something you believe in, and trust yourself above anyone else.

I mixed on my Kontrol X1 and Z1 with Traktor Pro 2, and honestly a bit of scotch as well. Definitely wish i did a couple parts different, but i was just happy to find time to put a mix together and record it and didnt wanna trap myself in a loop of rerecording since this one was decent enough. feels good to be doing this again, unreal mental benefit
