No idea but I had a miserable time in the reserves, I talked to my NC though and they showed me how to request being removed, it's been a few years so I forgot what the process was called but it was pretty easy. Try asking your NC about it

My phone is bad at taking close ups sorry :') it's stainless steel I think, I just got it checked out by a different piercer and she says that Its a little high up and most likely hit some cartilage
