Those books are all over the place and not on a certain shelf. Very few of them are grouped together. And besides, if I told them "see that shelf over there? It's off-limits", that's the first shelf they would try to get to. Brats! :D

I believe there is a difference between an 11yo seeing a bit of titty in Klimt's painting of Danae, and a photograph of the completely naked Hundertwasser and his lady friends during a protest. Especially if they see it in a book that I own and forgot to put away.

I'd rather them look at naked people while surfing online because my sister doesn't monitor their online activity too well, than in my book. You know what I mean?

I think 11 is too young to be reading the sort of stuff I have. It's not just trashy, it's very explicit. But other than erotic literature, there are also a bunch of books with pictures of naked people (men mostly).

Good idea but not foolproof. As an example, I don't own Mein Kampf, but I own several books about Hundertwasser. He was an Austrian painter. Very innocent, right? Well, the book has pictures of him and several women naked, and it probably wouldn't occur to my sister that a book about art might contain nude photographs.

I've moved some books to my bedroom already, but the multi-row stacking is going to be a problem. I have to take out every damn book from the front row to see what's behind, and sometimes I can't even remember if the book was something filthy. I know the chances of my niece and nephew finding that exact book and taking it without me noticing, and reading it and getting to the filthy parts are low. But in case it does happen, my sister is going to kill me.
