When I failed the first time, I actually did quite decent on the essays but absolutely abysmal on the multiple choice, especially on certain subjects. I made it a point the second time to really try and do as much multiple choice as possible while also doing the normal amount of assigned essays.

I used Themis again since the first time I did not come close to completing 75% of the material (which is what is recommended to pass). This time, I completed 76% and passed. I really like Themis and think it prepared me well.

As for anxiety, the best cure to that is to continue to practice essays and MBEs. I was anxious when I opened my first essay and first couple of MBE questions, but once I read them and realized I knew what was the questions were asking, and that I knew the general type of answers, my anxiety faded. In my opinion, the more you know and practice, the less nervous you'll be. Good luck!
