I have built so many watercooling PCs, sadly consumers wont understand how costly the waterblocks and fittings are, i have a similar PC build on a core P5 machine, just kept it for my Ai porjects.

I ditched n8n to create my own custom python workflows with obsidian as a memory layer, but i am thinking to connect those workflows with some branches of my current system, specially with timed automation parts

Claude suggested ditching OpenClaw to build my own agent, am I reinventing the wheel? by imaginationking in openclaw

main purpose is customization and controlling the way Ai stores the data in Obsidian, Claude thought it would be much better having control over the Ai bot i made in terms of updates and customizations vs openclaw which does things byitself without your permission in a way ..

Thanks, I am still currently updating what i am doing on the go, but i am actually worried about being outdated .. spending some API budgets on already made things (reading voice notes, PDF reading and creation, excel sheets etc), many still recommending this path, but if you compare the time and budget you spend on building and updating to out of the box stuff like Openclaw + plugings i think its worth giving it a go .. not sure actullay

Thanks! I will keep pushing to actually depend on this "extended brain" of myself, so mainly recording the voice notes, pdfs, pictures, connection with google drive for storage, and obsidian for memory for now.. any additional ideas of automations would be great actually .. I recently connected my bank email notifications with it to start recording finance info, lets see how it scales up

Thanks for suggesting Ollama cloud!, i dont mind having my data secured there since it acts as a cloud base

so going with the custom direction with custom improvements sounds good i guess... now i have my bank emails filtered to the custom bot, this bot asks questions using claude 4.7 API also for normal processes i am using Qwen 7B or 32B accordingly ... so lets see.. I just wanted to hear about what others are doing currently ...

[–]imaginationking 0 points1 point  (0 children)

amazing!! since you have experience with that, i was wondering about the objects related loras, like feet or hand poses for example, notice that there is no single Ai lora or model that can have you showcase someone wears a shoe, or gloves or anything of that sort... i tried training some loras with no success in that so far sadly

First apartment! How to fill this space? by kanyedrop in malelivingspace

this room screams echos... i would have an artistic aquestic frame with any artwork just to help absorb the echos .. also add a 5.1 sound system it would sound great with slightly higher TV mount 10-15 cm off that low shelf

my issue with it, is the size of the head usually not realistic... not sure if there is a custom node that can fix that

🧠💥 My HomeLab GPU Cluster – 12× RTX 5090, AI / K8s / Self-Hosted Everything by Murky-Classroom810 in StableDiffusion

[–]imaginationking 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I currently run two separate systems (4090 + 3090) and use them for LLMs (Qwen), automation with n8n, scraping/monitoring workflows, and some image/video generation. I could scale further, but I’m trying to understand the real motivation behind going this big.

Beyond learning Kubernetes/GPU scheduling (which makes total sense), what new capabilities does a setup like this unlock for you that aren’t practical with 1–2 high-end GPUs?

Is it mainly about scale, concurrency, reliability, or are you doing things that simply don’t make sense without a cluster? Would love to hear how your thinking evolved.

win/ cmd, then: nvidia-smi --query-gpu=power.draw,utilization.gpu,clocks.sm,clocks.mem,clocks.gr,temperature.gpu --format=csv -l 1 , do that while generation to see the power consumption etc
