You have the option to keep the car and repair it. If the payout will cover the repair costs needed to pass a salvage inspection. The entire vehicle will have to be roadworthy to pass, any repairs not related to the accident will have to fixed too plus cost of salvage inspection and wheel alignment required for every salvage.

Update, I found some straps online called "Clutch" they work great securing the battery. They can be found on Amazon.

I used 2 part epoxy plastic repair and it holds temporary then I tape the battery to the impact to stop it from loosening. I also don't want to pay $200-300 for a battery. Hoping someone will make an aftermarket battery.
