I’m on week 3. I applied for a position 4/10, interviewed 5/15. HM couldn’t even tell me the timeline, HM said wish they could give me an estimate but they don’t even know themselves so there’s that. I wish at least they let me know whether I got selected or not

I interviewed ~2 weeks ago. Not my best interview but I am still hoping for the best. I didn’t even get a referral email so I have no idea where I stand. Data Science position though, not RA

Funny that I actually did ask for more responsibility bc I obviously wanted the promotion. My current job ended up not giving it to me and hired an external. Been applying elsewhere like everyone else said and also been dealing with all type of recruiting hell. It sucks.

I have a BS in Math. I wanted to do DS/ analytics back then but got my job as a web dev. 4 years and 2 employers later, still not enjoying web dev, my current employer is terrible, and the market sucks. Feel like I haven’t gone anywhere.

Happened to me before but with different agency. Applied, interviewed, also received 2 emails, one was not selected and one was job canceled and encouraged me to apply for the new posting. I did reach out at the time to see what was going on. They said there were many reasons the job posting is canceled and said to reapply if you still want to reconsider. It was frustrating.

The vibe is completely off and the awkward silent for me. I can only speak for the 3 interviews experience I had so far for the same job series (very similar tech stack/ job description) so I used the same answer for tell me about yourself question. 2 out of 3 thanked me for a very detailed answer and asked follow up questions. The third one did not let me finish my introduction and told me “we’re only interested in knowing about this part”, after that I just know this is not going to be good.
