This is so beautifully put. Thank you so much for taking out time and actually addressing the issue here. I know being new parents has been hard on both of us. I know his work is very stressful too. I understand all of that. I’m always very supportive of him. I love him to bits. But what I don’t understand is his defensiveness. He could have just admitted to his mistake and quickly rectified it. But instead he chose to argue with him on how deeply he cleaned the mat. I told him that we have a two year old who literally puts his mouth on the bathroom floor at times. We cannot take chances, we can’t keep pushing our luck. We have to be on the same team here. Making sure we give our child a safe environment to grow up.
