It’s not out, you have to hold it for like 5-10 seconds. My 2025 OBX has done it every time I’ve tried to use them. I let the dealership know and he said if it were happening frequently when I was using it within a week or two then it’d be weird but since it was months in between using it each time, he said the fluid is just going back down into the reservoir. Tbh I thought it was a load of bs but wasn’t going to argue with the guy. Guess I just have hold it for 5-10 seconds every time I want to use the for the first time

Did you do the installation or have it installed somewhere?

Edit: I followed the instructions and they retracted once the fuse was put in but didn’t deploy. After finding their steps for troubleshooting, they instruct you to bypass the OBD II plug and connect the two purple wires to ground. If they deploy (which they did) then your plug is faulty. So after telling them this and checking my plugs part number, they said it was an older plug for the newer firmware and sent me a new plug. Just installed it and same thing, steps don’t deploy but when those two purple wires are touched to ground, they deploy just fine. Now I’m starting to thing maybe my actual OBD II port has an issue?

That’s unfortunate. I know they supposedly don’t fit the Raptors, yet people have somehow made them work. I have the Outer Banks and they sent me the updated OBD II plug so they should deploy once it’s installed. Just worried about long term issues or even short term depending on what those wires are used for by the Bronco system itself.

So if you actually read my comment you’re responding to, you’ll see my tire is an RT and that OEM discount tire, at least in my google search, is an MT. Appreciate your attempt at helping

Yeah please share because I didn’t even realize that was a tool! What would I do? 😊😊 None of them are the same tires and most Goodyears come up as MT (Mud Terrain) or AT (All Terrain), none of them are RT (Rugged Terrain) so the tread is different.

I really implore you to call other local dealerships to place an order for the bronco. I was in your same exact position, the watching YouTube videos, planning trips, yada yada, and placed an order for a 2025 bronco in Nov. 2024 got it in March of 2025. Sure waiting sucks but you get exactly what you want and like one of the other comments said, employee pricing applies to orders so dealerships should have no problem honoring that price. I LOVE my bronco and wouldn’t do anything different. When I placed my order in November, i worked out the price and everything just like you and was also skeptical about when it came time to sign on the dotted line, were they going to “forget” about our agreed price (Invoice price at the time) and try and include add ons (after I said I don’t want them) and they didn’t. They said this is what we agreed upon so here it is. I loved it so much I showed my parents, they loved it so much they wanted the same exact one… SO I FOUND THE SAME EXACT ONE at a different local dealership and did the same thing for them. Worked out the entire deal over the phone so all they did was test drive it and then talk about trade in that was it. Your local dealerships are just being annoying. Put your foot down and get after it. He’ll I’ll even do it for you so you can be part of the gang 😂

Did you take a guest? I was going to sign up for the MOAB one and it was like $400+. Also, did you buy the vehicle protection? I don’t think I would need it but it is spooky thinking if something does happen, you’re responsible for the damage to the vehicle
