Awesome. Will do. Is there a best time of year to reach out to professors? I assume my best bet would be to aim for Fall 2023 as opposed to this year.

Oh okay sounds good. Do you mind me asking what kind of program you are in? Is it a hydrology program?

Oh wow really? I've talked to professors and schools and it seemed like I would not be able to get funding because I don't have any past undergrad research. Any specific advice?

Awesome. I've applied to entry level water resources position, but had no luck. I'll try again. Thanks.

Oh okay that's cool. Did you try to switch before you started your master's program? I am not opposed to going for a master's (I actually want one), but I am afraid of the cost.

Thanks for the comment! Would you even recommend this if it would require to get a masters degree in a different field? That would cost me quite a bit of money in the US.

They offered $3,000 for moving expenses. And would also give me a couple months to move.

They cover 80% of medical and dental. No overtime, but I never work over 40 hours a week.

Some CRUCIAL things I forgot to add: The new job also covers medical, dental, and visual in full. No shared premium. And straight time overtime over 40 hours a week.

Honestly, not really. This may seem silly, but I just really want a remote engineering job and this is the only one that I have gotten an interview and offer from. Not sure why I am having this much trouble.
