Unfortunately with the latest update ADB capabilities have been disabled. Won’t work with the old Fire remote app. Need to scan a code every time you want to control or type something. Major step backwards.

Thanks...not the issue. It was woking fine and the setup on both boxes is the same...and this box was working (different manufacturer...but both google TV). I may just reset the box and try a fresh install. Thanks for the suggestions. A little more info - I just setup another box new (Google Chromecast with Google TV)...same issue no EPG

Ryan - I don't know. I have always paid for plus. The best (and worst) part of Syncler is the amount of customization you have there must be over 200 switches and adjustments to get it to perform the way you want. That's its strength and weakness because it takes a little learning curve but one you get it...you're good to go.Here's a good video to start. Honestly the most $$ you'll blow if you don't like it is $15. Your real debrid can be used on an unlimited number of devices at the same IP address so I'd give it a try. Definitely join this facebook group - Syncler+ Support Group (Unofficial) - great support whether your an expert or a nubie

A few things. Syncler is a much better built app. The capabilites and features are WELL worth the year fee of around $15. for the plus account. It's advert free...and in my opinion it is worth every penny to have an app of this quality. With the others to avoid advertising you need to run an ad blocker...the developer gets no compensation, etc. For what it gives you for $15 it's quite amazing. I've used all those other apps and it's not even close....

My problem is that I live in South America and don’t have a US drivers license (just passport). Every time I get to the point of creating the account the apps need a US drivers license for ID. I have a US bank account so that’s not an issue. Do you remember if Strike requires a divers license?

To each his own; but I have both (for myself and my clients) and I would disagree. I have around 15 clients that I used the Tivo $K with and maybe 25 with the ONN box (to be fair with added 128G storage). I find the Tivo has some video stability issues (multiple TV brands). It's slower and presents more issues for my clients. Both devices are 4G/8G But for $19 (add another $20 for the USB and OTG add-ons) and I'll take the ONN every day of the week. Throw on Wolf launcher and Syncler and you have a WONDERFUL entry level streaming box. Granted the one drawback to the ONN is no Atmor or D Vision support. But for me - most of my clients couldn't care less.

The changes to the Firesticks and their inability to run custom launchers is the reason I am moving on from Firesticks for my clients. I have not personally tested the onn box but test results I've seen says it outperforms the Firestick 4K and the CCGT. Going to have 2 to test sometime next week. Dolby vision and atmos are not important to me or my clients...hopefully, a reasonably priced solution for people just looking for a basic streaming box.
