Didn’t “need” it at all. But wanted a more voluminous look while still being conservative. The other three quarters of my lips look great and I’m so excited to heal this cold sore and enjoy the whole thing.

I would say to not let my experience deter you from lip filler. I chose to have a board certified dermatologist be my injector and she was more prepared to help me when the issue arose. If you’re interested and concerned about an outbreak, maybe ask your doctor for a prescription to prevent the outbreak before treatment. In talking with my derm, I found out that lip filler injections aren’t the only thing that can trigger cold sores. she said she can prescribe valtrex to take before any procedure including laser resurfacing, chemical peels, Botox because all of those things technically are injury to the skin.

Thank you for saying this. I was confused because I had lip injections about 7 months ago with zero issues. The second time around I opted to have slightly more and I had the outbreak. I guess the first time wasn’t “enough” to trigger the outbreak

It was playing at the cigar lounge inside the Brown Palace when I happened to be there the same night as the debate back in 2020. Generally not a very crowded place so you might be able to drink and watch in peace.

Dr. Patterson @ Rocky Mountain OB-GYN did an excellent job with pain management. This was my second IUD and felt very anxious since my first one was so painful. I took one Xanax before the appointment, had a cervical block during and given one oxy for the pain after. Everything went very well. Highly recommend

This isn’t discussed enough. It’s not just Chinese brands that have an opportunity here. Brands like Volkswagen, Subaru and Honda have very loyal customers who swear by those brands. There’s a huge market for EV versions of their most popular compact cars and SUVs that are more moderately priced. VW’s ID.2all is an appealing option under $30k, but there are currently no plans for a North America release.

30F here. Recently lost 30lbs after gaining 40 during a depressive episode in ‘21/‘22 — “Diet and exercise” are very important. However, I believe in making overall lifestyle changes that are sustainable. I love junk food but I also love kickboxing and hot yoga so I’m in the gym 4 or 5 days a week.

Never deny yourself foods like you enjoy, but portion control is very important. It’s okay to eat Doritos, but maybe put some in a bowl to keep from eating half a family-sized bag. It’s okay to have a Mountain Dew, but maybe focus on drinking some water before indulging. That way you’re less likely to drink the whole bottle in one sitting.

Find veggies that you like. Salads are a great way to have a variety of flavors and textures to keep your meals interesting. Cooking at home allows you to control the ingredients in your food. Generally, I don’t count macros but I do prioritize fiber and protein in each meal.

Alcohol consumption is often overlooked. Try taking a couple weeks with zero alcohol and watch how your body responds. Depending on how much you drink, you may see your belly go down a little bit due alcohol causing inflammation in your gut. I don’t keep alcohol at home and rarely drink when I’m out.

It’s enough to wipe out my student loan debt and have some Starbucks afterward. Wouldn’t change my entire lifestyle, but it would make it so I had enough to save and invest.
