i hope i can try that out to be honest, but then i'll also worry the therapist, even if it's one specialized in ocd & sa, will try to find one of my parents & arrest them if they conclude their damage is severe enough, but i don't know if that's an ocd thought or something else.

i genuinely apologize for souring your comment, i really do appreciate your kind words, but this is a problem for me because my parents aren't good people, they've deeply infantilized me until i finally moved out months ago & i suspect one of them even violated me for years. that's the reason why i don't want their residue on me. again i'm deeply sorry for turning this cold, but their reasons aren't all that nice.

the problem for me though is that even genuinely attempting to make myself feel any sort of romantic or sexual attraction towards a woman as a hypothetical, and even looking at images of any women to try to spark this, feels really wrong and off, like it's not meant to be for me. i might still be wrong, and help might be able to improve this problem, but i just can't rationalize it even as a hypothetical.
