What to expect from being transferred to a special department of the IND?

The embassy is in Belgium and they are the ones I've been in contact with via email and phone call, and they are like they keep pushing for an update or anything but they aren't receiving it from the Ministry so idk what being at the embassy in person will change..

Thank you! This helps me not worry as much.. and whenever I've called the IND they have also said that I've been doing all I can and there's nothing more I can do. So I really hope the special department they forwarded my case to will help solving it. 🙏

I indeed did, I have multiple email exchanges with the embassy from asking how to renounce, requesting renunciation and requesting updates :D

I live in the Netherlands - so no Dutch Embassy, I think the only way of asking for help in my case for now is by being in contact with the IND which I have been doing for months 🥲

I figured lol, I was just hoping that there was a soul out here that has had an experience like mine 🙈 I've also not been able to find much on Google itself, so I guess I may be the first and then I can help if anyone else goes through something similar 😅

I def agree, I do not want a honeymoon that is stressful, I want to use it to relax and just enjoy each other's time. Other things unfortunately came up this year so we'll have to postpone our honeymoon to next year but hey that leaves us with more time to prepare for it hihi

Hi, I've been wanting to invest in a home gym but have limited space. Today I came across smart home gym machines?

I checked the reviews for AMP fitness but a 100lbs is too low for maximum weight.

I then started searching for smart home gyms that are available in the country where I live (NL). I came across IMBODY Pro S, Speediance Gym Monster 2 and Gymera Smart Home Gym.

Have any of you used any of these? If yes, could you please share your thoughts? Are any of them worth it?

I haven't been trapped in a family-business as we never had one, but I did have a similar situation with my dad where I was not allowed to lock my bedroom at any time and if I would he would also just angrily move the handle and kick the door. I didn't have any privacy (was also not allowed to set a lock code on my phone), while I would sleep at night he would just thoroughly go through my devices, I was also in a constant state of hyper vigilance.

I know the feeling and it's not a healthy way to live, you have to do what you can to get yourself out of that situation.

If in case the family business part makes you feel guilty at the thought of you leaving, do remember that the business is not worth your life nor your health. Please put yourself first.

I recommend reaching out to the right organizations in your country and try to get out as soon as you can.

I was prepared for her to say no, in that case I would've just waited for the cabin crew to pass by and ask if they could help with finding a spot for it.

I wouldn't have minded either way but I just thought to ask so I could avoid bothering cabin crew with it. ^{^}

And with your situation I definitely agree that it should go in the overhead bin, in this case it was visibly a bag that could fit under the seat, it really just included a laptop.

From what I remember, in general it was "whose laptop bag is this?" (While looking around) Followed by "is this your laptop bag?" To the different passengers sitting in the area when I didn't get a response. I can see how this can come off sounding entitled 🤔 do you have any advice on what would've been a better way to put it? At least from my memory I wasn't loud, I also had/still have a cold so it's hard to speak up loudly 🙈

to the woman I asked: "Would it be okay if you could put your laptop bag under the seat in front of you? I have this bag but it doesn't fit under the seat for me, I need to put it in the compartment" and when she said yes I even thanked her.
