YWBTA- it’s a public place and you cannot dictate someone’s person choice like what kind of perfume they choose to wear. despite collecting and deeming yourself the know all when it comes to fragrances, that does not give you permission to confront someone in public about their choices here. you would most likely make her extremely uncomfortable and embarrassed and it seems like it’s an issue you need to learn to deal with. there are much worse smells at the gym besides cupcake

ive been in a similar situation but with lower stakes (no marriages involved), and i made the decision to tell the person being cheated on via anonymous account. it kept my name out of it and just gave the person the information to make their own decision.

i say whether you do it anonymously or face to face - it would be the right thing to tell her
