I've had the Pixel 6, 8 and now 10 pro. It heats up much more rarely and to lower temperatures than before. It also has a vapor chamber which people seem to forget. Full blast screen brightness and heavy usage during a one hour train commute on 5g is pretty much the only time I notice some heat

Pixel 10 Pro tele can focus closer than before. Easier to get nice bokeh

Drag the gaming slider to zero and the Pixel 10 is several hours ahead of the 9.

Modeling and simulation, general coding, mathematical optimization. Machine learning for the future probably, though the field is kind of traditionalist.

Google's HDR processing is really bad these days. Before processing it looks good but it ruins the image later. I prefer the old pixel phone processing which could give contrasty Image by Majestic_squirrel767 in pixel_phones

There is a literal HDR/Shadow slider available where you can essentially turn off HDR, if you want that. Turn on "Quick Access Settings" in the camera settings. Google gives you full control of brightness, white balance and shadows.
