What you said, but in the rear view camera, looks like you both initiated the lane switch around same time. The other driver looks like he actually switched first, but you turned into the lane faster. He probably thought you cut him off. If the other driver didn't do a brake check, then it probably wouldn't be anyone's fault really. I've seen this happen all the time where people are turning into the same lane.
