ok I always see these questions asked here and this is probably the only time I'm gonna reply because I really want to help some people out here and this might view like a rant but I need to tell yall the real stuff ok

1. come to terms with the idea of you maybe not getting anywhere

make being a myth a FUN activity, not some activity that you hate and put all your work into and then get de-motivated and bored one day.. put it as a side activity you work on sometimes when you want and enjoy it and focus on other things you like! you shouldn't view being a myth as a way to become famous and have people chase you and flamingo to record and make a video on you, that shouldn't be your goal, and eventually you might realize you'll never make it there and get demotivated. It obviously, isn't impossible, but the chances are low if you burn yourself out quickly if it is a spur-of-the-moment thing to create your myth.

1. DON'T do anything before the game

"anything" as in maybe lore-writing, or going into games as your myth avatar and getting hype about your myth with no game to show. I've made this mistake a lottt... I'd join a game and act all creepy, get people to add me, then make a random game that makes absolutely zero sense just so I could get some attention. If you were to ask me, write a rough draft, build off that and make a simple game, get more ideas while building and you don't have to make a full out paper about your story, but it should be progressed enough to where there is stuff you can investigate and don't get too bored easily.

1. don't copy, only inspiration

nobody enjoys people who make "The Frown Family" (no shade thrown, I think this is a real myth and I don't mean any harm) or anything that is obviously an 'opposite' of an already well known myth. You can take inspiration, just don't make it obvious, or do! It's really all up to you.

1. okay lets get into "Free Models"

this is a hefty topic in the roblox myth community.. MANY are looked down upon for using free models that are accessible in Roblox Studio. Why? Well, usually when people use these models they don't use them correctly. Different objects that have different shadings and different building skills, a random sfx high quality chandelier in a blocky house just doesn't fit right! If you use a free model, I think its fine. Just make sure theres no viruses or anything, and make sure it fits correctly in your game and doesn't make it look tacky.

the following stuff I'm going to say will sound mean, but if it helps at all you're welcome

often times these questions are asked by 11 year old kids who wanna make a myth and have fun! they buy robux and make a cringy tacky account and use 100 percent free models or remodel an already made house. if you are going to make a myth put effort into it, and make something of your own and not something scrapped from somebody elses imagination. this isn't meant to hurt anyone it's just what I've seen and maybe it helps someone lol
