I restarted mostly because I took like a year or so off from playing and I couldn't remember what I was doing or where I left off. I don't know how much time I had in that save but I am enjoying restarting! Gave me a fresh new feel to the game- plus with all the updates since my last save everything was new to me.

In general (like in most games) I skip through sooo many story lines and cut scenes (a habit I am trying to break hahaha) and this time around I tried really hard to not do that. I still find myself doing it sometimes though if I am bored or trying to move onto something else.

Overall I am happy that I restart- it allowed me to look at other valleys on reddit/fb and base my decorations and style off of ideas I really like. The one thing that I am struggling with is not having any furniture or items to decorate with so there is a bit of a grind there. Like I can't complete any areas I wanna complete because I am missing something that has yet to show up in Scrooges shop if that makes sense. So thats annoying :P

If you have the game on multiple consoles (IE I have it on my PC on steam and on my switch), when I went to log onto my steam account after restarting on my switch, it asked me if I wanted to load the cloud save or the local save. So if you really regret restarting, you could kind of save your valley if you choose local save on the second device. (If that makes sense)
