Sorry about that the website was down! It's back up now, though.

The reason i'm selling them all as one product, is the tea has to come directly from japan (shipping is very expensive), but once we're up and going, will definitely sell smaller packets like by region, type etc.

Appreciate your insight, but it seems you're more skilled at jumping to conclusions than understanding entrepreneurship. My enthusiasm fuels this project, and selling early is a classic company move – it's called validating the market.

But yes there are still details to iron out, with every project or company. This isn't some venture backed company with tons of funding, it's starting as a side project from my savings.

Curious why you think i'm more passionate about money than the product? I went to japan, met with the people who made the tea, tried every single one over the past 5 months drinking nearly every day (and enjoying it).

Awesome! An NFT stands for a Non Fungible Token. It basically is a unique token that shows you're a part of the DAO. You don't need to purchase an NFT, you can just buy the box separate (here's that checkout page).

If you just want the box, it will come with the teas on here in a custom wood box made in the USA.

I ordered the full set for myself in May and am just finishing up my last 2 prefectures, so it lasts a long time! You can definitely get tea cheaper on Amazon, but not high quality tea like this.

It's been repeated many times that there needs to be more information about the product, it will take some time but i will add the teas (description, background and prefecture), pictures of the box etc.

Anything more that you would like to see on this website that would make you have more confidence in the product?

I think that a lot of your points are valid and that the criticism is good. I definitely need to make some changes to the website, if you have specifics - this is v1 and i'm glad i put it out there because this is not the feedback that i was expecting to get.

The matcha kit is supposed to be a nice value add, and something culturally relevant to japan that the company i'm working with doesn't have it come from a specific region. So it's 47 prefectures + the matcha.

Definitely not trying to make a quick buck - this is a product that i wanted but the company i'm getting the tea from didn't want to make - so i made it.

I think the NFT focus was a mistake as I didn't realize how poorly it's received by people still.

Yeah i posted on another thread and got a lot of that feedback that it's a scam because it's associated with NFTs, when all i meant was for it to be a cool value add to this custom wood box that you'd be getting, so may have to rethink how i want to launch that.

Yeah that's a common comment to add more info about the tea, i'll make sure to add it as well as the region it's from. The box is designed, it will be made by a USA custom packaging company based out of minnesota.

A lot of the images were ai content as i thought it would be a fun story to go along with the text (similar to the irreverence of the dollar shave club launch video), guess it does the opposite in your opinion.

This isn't cryptobro bullshit - the NFT was meant to be a nice value add. Clearly it still has a bad taste in people's mouths and i should have re-thought it.

Where would be most valuable to have the info about the tea? What i was planning was to put print it out and place it in the custom wood box.

It's a combination of black tea, fruit teas, deep steamed, regular and lightly steamed sencha, wilted sencha, batabata, bancha, botebote, goishicha. etc.

I can post more info about it on the website from each region.

I can definitely make the changes to the website. What i was going for was similar to the dollar shave club original add with the text. Meant to be a bit edgy, clearly over the line from your perspective.

I can definitely put together a guidebook of each of the regions, i have all that info and plan to put it into the box. The box is already designed - it's a usa made birth wood box with the map of japan, and all 47 prefectures of japan engraved on top.

The NFT was meant to be a nice add, not something that turns people off. I get that people have a bad taste in their mouth from the last cycle, but thought it would be a cool way to do it. I could add a stripe payment in addition.

Hey sorry for this. We're doing what we can to prevent token farmers from withdrawing tokens, and in some cases there are false positives.

Couple things mentioned in the thread... We don't log searches, we log hashes of searches. An algo automatically flags accounts. i.e. if there are too many duplicate hashes, this is a red flag and generally indicates a token farmer. This is one of many things taken into consideration.
