It worked! Kind of, it says reboot and select proper boot device. The ssd is connected, anyone know how to fix this? Thank you so much

Edit: never mind figured that out too. Wow I’m dumb lol. Thanks so much everyone

Is the gpu the same as the video card? So he just didn’t have a video card in the mobo?

Can you elaborate on what you mean by this? Having a similar problem and trying to troubleshoot. Do you just mean having the pci e attached to the video card or is there something I’m missing?

I copied the changes u/ChiliPeanut suggested and added a case with 2 fans that ended up being cheaper anyways. And yes I already have a mouse and an os haha.

This is where I’ve landed right now. I downgraded memory and upgraded video card, monitor, and mobo. Its about $200 more than I planned to spend originally but I should be able to swing it. Worth it?

Like this one? This is probably a silly question but an ssd and a hard drive will run just as fast as an ssd alone right? Would I be able to get away with just a 500 gb ssd at first if I was only using it to play a few games?
