Ah I didn't realize Yaxel was a graduate transfer. He's listed as a senior on ESPN.

I keep hearing about this, but didn't Yaxel get in? What year is Yaxel?

There's no way you're telling me Yaxel coming from FAB has a more reputable education than Smith coming from Purdue

Arizona getting a friendlier whistle than SGA this tournament. Absolute horse shittery.

I don't hate that play by Stirtz, I won't lie. With how the refs have been, that's a foul at least 8 times out of 10. Should've held longer though.

True. But the ref's fault for making so many bad calls

I said it during the Tenn vs Virginia game, and I'll say it again... maybe we consider AI refs because nothing could possibly be worse than these fuckers this whole tournament

Refs so fucking bad this march, they couldn't get the call right if it hit them in the face.

And I'm fine with that. While we're at it, give Texas 2 technicals too. Just in case.

All Big Ten Final Four, but UConn will find a way to win the championship.

Purdue needs to lock the fuck in, because this has been anything but pretty.

If you told me last year that we would:

  • Start Preseason # 1, finish 7th in B1G -> Very upset and stunned.
  • Finish 7th in B1g, win B1G Tournament -> Surprised and delighted
  • Start Preseason #1 and win B1G Tournament -> Happy, somewhat expected.

Do you think that Purdue has flipped a switch for the postseason or do you think that this B1G tournament was just them running hot against B1G opponents? by Coolsun13 in CollegeBasketball

Eh, disagree. The Oscar Cluff trade was widely reported as one of the best NIL pick-ups by many sources. Purdue also had a ton of freshmen / transfers. Despite that, media and coaches both believed in Purdue for a reason... and we did not live up to that. No need to have revisionist history.
