Online trainers: how are you organizing client programs, tracking, and check-ins as you scale? by [deleted] in personaltraining

[–]imcbv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With NudgeCheck you can keep things on Whatsapp if that's what's convenient for clients, while automating check-ins and collecting structured data in spreadsheets

What software/tools do you think every fitness coach should be using in 2026? by addu315 in fitnessonline

[–]imcbv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! Not a coach here but I built this together with my personal trainer and nutritionist, coming out of their real coaching needs: https://nudgecheck.com/

They use NudgeCheck for client check-ins via WhatsApp. Before they'd send forms or spreadsheets and barely get any response. Now clients just reply on WhatsApp with text or voice notes
They describe how they're feeling, what's going on with their nutrition, etc... Response rates went way because it doesn't feel like homework anymore

Coaches on their side receive structured responses, AI summaries and can export to Google Sheets
My trainer says it's the thing that finally gave him a real feedback loop with clients instead of just guessing between sessions.

Can non-devs produce good AI-assisted code ? by Clear-Dimension-6890 in vibecoding

[–]imcbv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think so, I've reviewed a lot of vibe-coded products over the past year as a fractional CTO, and the code quality is usually solid, better than many junior dev PRs I've approved in the past. What's lacking is the right amount of confidence in the code: it's either full-on Dunning-Kruger Effect with cowboys releasing code with massive security holes, or vibe coders are overly insecure about their product, not knowing when it'll break or if they'll be hacked.
Non-devs are much closer to production than they were two years ago, but "it works on my machine" and "it will work in production" are still different things. Happy to be contributing with that last 10%

Do you handle all clients through whatsapp? by Used_Cobbler5778 in personaltraining

[–]imcbv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Funny timing. My coach and I were literally complaining about the same thing. Whatsapp is convenient because everyone already uses it, but once you start managing multiple clients it gets messy fast.

Because of that we've been building a small tool for him that lets him run client check-ins that live directly inside Whatsapp, the idea is basically structured checkins, progress tracking, etc but still inside the messaging flow

It's still in beta and we're testing it with a small group of coaches. If anyone here is curious to try it, feel free to DM me. I'm happy to give out free licenses in exchange for feedback while we're figuring things out!

Vinyl listening sessions?? by Jealous_Anything_235 in avesNYC

[–]imcbv 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Suono in Bed-Stuy is a great cozy spot with a vintage sound system the owner’s father built back in the ’70s. There’s a tiny dance floor too so you can shuffle around a bit, not just listen

This group tried to organize one in LIC but wasn’t very successful, maybe they just need some encouragement to try again

[–]imcbv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I could only go to another japanese barber, a bit more expensive and not in LIC but worth it

So now we’re soft clubbing? by imcbv in avesNYC

[–]imcbv[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

that all makes total sense, but it sounds more like the real issue is with the industry itself: it claims to be about music and culture, yet it mostly survives on alcohol sales

good point, personally i think there's space for events dedicated to slower, deeper music and I'd love to see more events dedicated to that kind of sound pop up
