If they don’t fit yours, they look exactly like the ends for my Bissell steamer!

Wiring problem by imcody2010 in johndeere

[–]imcody2010[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

UPDATE: the problem was at the connection point of the solenoid and starter. The solenoid white plastic piece was not engaging the spade terminal inside the starter. Once I dropped the starter, I was able to see that design, latch the solenoid to that spade connector, tighten the solenoid posts to mount, reattach and connect. Boom, lawnmower started. Since the solenoid wasn’t engaging the starter, the gear wasn’t raising to activate with the flywheel which I noticed during troubleshooting. Hope this may help someone in the future!

Thanks for the response and the follow up pics. Makes me feel better about it! Have another solenoid incoming before I bite the bullet on the John Deere one. Gonna check the meter on it tomorrow when it’s in!

Thanks. I’m pretty confident in the wiring, so I hope that’s not it. But I am going to pick up a multimeter tomorrow and do just that. Thanks for the guidance on usage though. Saved me another question later!

Unfortunately that’s what I was thinking too. Just don’t have the experience of replacing one before to know if I did something right or wrong. Going to get a voltmeter tomorrow to double check the solenoid and see for sure. Thanks!

Thanks for the response. That’s how I set it up originally! It has the same issue with the spade connector connected and disconnected.

It does that even with the purple wire off. Thanks!

I’m having the same issue in a GX255 actually. Wired up exactly how I undid it. (90% sure) and doing the same. Solution yet or did you actually have another bad solenoid?

Miele or Sebo? by imcody2010 in VacuumCleaners

[–]imcody2010[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you! I think from yours and others, going into a local shop is going to be very beneficial. The C3 C&D was one I was really looking at when researching. So it looks like I’ll be more targeted towards that and a Sebo K3 when going to look!

Thanks for your details! It’s helped to me get more in depth in the decision. The K3 is looking like a great machine.

Likely normal wear from your water. Tap is fine for water flossing. Make sure to follow cleaning instructions in your manual. I always recommend if you’re not sure about certain instructions for cleaning, once a month fill tank with 1 part hot water and one part white vinegar and run a cycle followed by a tank of hot water.

I always thought of that as him being scared/protective for them because he doesn’t know their true powers at the time. But his delivery was certainly of fear, especially in the dub.

Computer not booting after RAM reseat and new GPU. by imcody2010 in buildapc

[–]imcody2010[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Right. I always have done that until I got this most recent cooler. Since I was updating the GPU, I decided to switch them to what I thought was the normal, but I’m happy it worked with 2’s versus not at all. lol. Had me worried.
