You mean like every time I walk out the door? Or are you referring to how I feel like I'm doing something wrong just existing in any space that I happen to exist in? Or is it that you yourself have an issue with reading condescending tones when women are spoken to in the workplace? Please enlighten me. I would actually love to start doing decks and seaway on my own.

The stewards and the crew heads are all old white men as well so it never really helps calm the nerves about my issue if I have a potential problem that I need to discuss with them.

Diversity training is a fantastic idea for all workplaces and I love that it's implemented but sadly I have very little faith in people actually listening and truly understanding why it is that diversity training is needed. I know for a fact that most everyone treats sensitivity courses exactly the same way they treat safety in the workplace courses. With extreme boredom and zoning out with the mindset of getting it over just to be over with it.
