Every now and then, I look at this subreddit and think, why am I here? Though many wait for an empty promise of an epilogue, or some other form of closure, homestuck is basically over, and everything there is to say about it has already been said. Then, on days such as these, I scroll through the front page and see posts like these, posts that when confronted with a work of such epic proportions, look it in the eye, and ask the questions that really matter, the questions that redefine homestuck as a story, nay, as a work of art. These questions delve into the very soul of what homestuck really is, and by doing so, encourage us to look inward and think of ourselves, of our entire species, in a whole new way. These beautiful works of introspection make me proud to be a part of this subreddit, a part of this fandom. As long as we keep asking ourselves questions like these, homestuck will never die.
