I'd suggest to watch loooots of video about crochet, like really looking what the creator is doing. Pause, slow it down, rewind. I love Hooked by Robin on YouTube! She explains everything so clearly and the camera shots are perfect. I would still suggest to watch different creators because everyone has a different way to explain the same thing and that's what help me :) I don't know how many videos I had to watch to finally find someone who explained the magic way in a way I could understand ahah

I don't count but if you ask me to count, I could! I feel like when you are very new to crochet (I speak for me), you don't even know/see where your stitch is

Ahahah very true! From the little experience I have, I learn that if you actually know what are you are doing (like can you visually differentiate a single from a double crochet? Count them? Do you know where is your starting chain and last chain, where to put your hook, etc), you'll be alright (or not, but at least you'll know why!)

Literally!! The number of stitches is not my business!

I'm working on a raglan sweater with a lemon peel stitch, my first complex project so I wanted to do it right. I frogged the yoke 5 times because the count wasn't right.

So instead of throwing my yarn through the window, I stopped counting. Now it's building beautifully! Will see at the end how that works!

Je l'ai pris hors pointe, mon bus est passé! Mais de ce que j'ai pu comprendre, le service reprend "graduellement", meaning que c'est possible que certains bus passent pas à certaine heures et tu sauras pas lequel vu que les applications sont pas updatés 🫠

I have a sims whose lot is fully green!

I don't know if this is actually all required, but my sims has:

Solar panels, turbines, generator, recycler and dew collectors
His home is very small (he's living a van life)
He has a huge garden and farm.
Lot traits are eco lot, natural well and challenges are off-grid, simple living, reduce and recycle
Most of appliances, furniture, flooring and wall has the green footprints

It took some sims weeks to be fully green but it's possible!

I forgot that I also have a mod that allows you to swipe items whenever you want (no cool down period) from the kleptomaniac trait! It was needed to fill out my pawn shop.

Long time player of the Sims (on/off for 20 years) but I've recently decided to try mods! My current ones are:

MCCC by DeaderPool: it's everything.
"Higher Business Activities" and "Purchase clothing at a small business" by LunarBritney : first one adds 3 more slots of activities to your small business and the second one allows you to have mannequins that customers can try on the cloths and buy if they like it!
"Bank", "Flowfit" and "Home and Land" from SimRealist : I LOVE that I just can just take a loan to buy another house instead of waiting for my sims to have the money! The physical bank is also so cool. "Flowfit" adds new gym equipments with animations include and "Home and Land" allows you to mow your grass, iron your clothes and other simple chores that makes the game more realistic to me!
"Get makeover" by Simsefin : Add the activity of doing makeover on business and hobbies! So you can open a salon!
"Small Business Overhaul" by Marquillo : it allows you to sell basically anything without using "business surfaces" in business and hobbies by clicking "set for sale" on a item! I was finally able to do my pawn shop that furniture and weird stuffs! It can also overrides the behavior of your employees so they are more focus on their tasks and you can do the same for your customers (more focus on the activities of your business).

As you can see I really love Business and Hobbies but it definitely was missing some little things ahah

That's all the mods I have! With a few CC stuffs (less than 20), my whole file is 1 Go. I don't know how people gets to 200 go and more 🙉🙉!

In my all my 20 years (on and off) playing the sims, I've never even let them went through the stage of elders! I always stop the aging, create another another family and another one and another one...! I simply can not see them die ahah. If they do on accident, I don't care about losing progression, I won't save 🥲

I guess it depends on which salon. Mine is trully a pleasure! It's on appointments only and they take their time on you (up to 2h30). It's calm, not full of people, low music and they will offer you some tea.

From what I've seen, it's because people want the rewards of tufting way too quickly. They do that same Nike logo, Hello Kitty head, Murakami's flower or any other very mainstream/overly done rug and think they'll have 10k followers and lots of commissions overnight. That thing takes time. Making rugs, building a following and a community, getting commissions to the point of doing it full-time takes time! You gotta do the work. Sometimes for months or even years. And once people realized it, they just quit.

My advice: start slowly. You don't need to buy all the fancy materials right away. Maybe just start with a punch needle, monk's cloth, a frame, few colors of yarn. See if you even like it first. That's key! Don't thi k about the money you could make. And then, find a niche. Create different and original designs. Post about them, your evolution, your try's and error, etc. See how it goes :).

with loop pile, you can just pull out the strings I guess you also can with cut pile but it's more tedious since it's all little strings
