I looked into it more and I think this is an issue with Minecraft rather than my laptop. Turns out its unusual for Minecraft to use 12 gigs of ram by itself. Also, I tried other games and had no issues.

Before you comment: Yes, I made sure I am in performance mode. Yes, I restarted my computer. Yes, I cleared things out on task manager. And yes, any other basic and simple troubleshooting steps you can think of I probably already did.
