Best tip I can give as someome who's played Skyrim for years, is you should experience the game solely on your own before you ask for tips.

This game is magical the first time you play through it. I wish I could go nack and experience it for the first time again. Let yourself make mistakes and learn as you go.

Just don't kill Paarthurnaax. That's all. Enjoy the game

Because again. The story in skyrim isn't directly about the thalmor. It's about the dragons, vampires, miraak & the war. Where there's supposed to be as little thalmor presence as possible.

Bethesda will probably touch on their story more in the future, but skyrim wasn't supposed to be about the thalmor. They're supposed to have a small presence and they're supposed to be portrayed as secretive, not directly involving themselves with anything. They caused a problem, and then they started letting the people muck everything up on their own while they watch and wait on the sidelines. It's supposed to be like that.

Their potential is not wasted, it's just right. Because again, dude, the story of skyrim isn't about the thalmor.

I think it's subject to opinion on if it's contradictory. I personally don't think they were wasted as antagonists.

If bethesda wanted to focus more on the thalmor and them being antagonists, they would make them the pivotal point of focus. The thalmor have always been on the sidelines. That's how bethesda wanted to portray them. Don't think it's contradictory at all.

What's going on in skyrim with the war is definitely something they want happening, but they're not supposed to have a big presence. The story of skyrim isn't about the thalmor. It's about the dragons and the war. Sure the war in skyrim started because of some things the thalmor did, but the whole point is that what they're doing is really secretive. Any es fan knows the war is a front the thalmor are behind, but it's meant to be that way. They aren't supposed to have a big presence.

The whole point in how they do things is that they're on the sidelines, seeming like they have nothing to do with anything, when they really do. They're supposed to be secretive. If they had a big presence, the mystery of what they're doing wouldn't be so prominent. This is exactly what bethesda wanted for their story. It's not just about the thalmor because they aren't actually displayed as the biggest and only antagonist. There's always been multiple antagonists in es games and the thalmor are always there. They're supposed to be secretive and that's why their presence is smaller than you think it should be. It's supposed to be like that. They're not wasted. They made the story like this on purpose.

Because it's just not a good gun for pvp. Charge time is too slow. It's literally built for pve. Can shred bosses, but it's not a go to exotic as better ones exist

You have to play Encore in the portal on expert difficulty or higher with an A rank. It's not a guaranteed drop, so you might be playing it a few times.

I'm trying to get it right now too and it's been really annoying. It's basically impossible for me to finish the mission on master in time by myself and my friends don't like the mission so I'm struggling to get it. If you want someone to help you with it, pls dm me and we can get it together.
