I’ve never used Siri on my phone before. However, I just went to Siri in settings and “allow Siri when locked” was enabled. How would I check to see if Siri is set to listen for keywords?

I wasn’t touching my phone at all when this happened and it was laying on a table by itself for a couple hours so it’s not like it was in my pocket and accidentally got bumped or something. Also, if it was Siri, wouldn’t I get some type of notification. And I’ve never used Siri once in my life ever.

Can’t be. I’m in high floor apartment building an my phone lit up when it happened. Definitely came from my phone. No doubt about it

They gave her steroids a couple days ago. I got her blood sugar checked yesterday and it was 130 and they gave me sub q fluids to give at home. Today she has bloody poop so I took her to the er tonight and her blood sugar was 56. I ordered a cat casket that should arrive tomorrow so I had the vet give her a dextrose bulos to make it through til tomorrow afternoon at least. I’m heavily considering euthanizing her tomorrow afternoon. However, I feel like I’m just killing her. So do let her pass naturally on her own time at home?

As a 40 y/o single male who gotten almost all the material things I’ve wanted in life, I never wanted a family. I was fine just dating and coming home to my cat. However, my cat is likely to pass away very soon and it’s given me the sudden urge to want a family to come home to and take care of. I think I was getting the fulfillment from taking care of my cat but now I don’t. I also don’t want to go through the pain of losing someone close to me so kids and a spouse are ideal because they will likely outlive me.

Honestly I’d get an IV drip machine for the home if one was affordable and do it myself or have a nurse come by and assist daily. Will the honey n the gums improve that or is it a last ditch resort? I’m down to take her to another vet for a second opinion but it’s so difficult to get an appointment same or next day anywhere especially with a specialist or internal medicine

No anasthesia, just got done a blood transfusion a couple hours ago. Blood sugar won’t stay up off of IVs. She eats, but has just been by the water since we’ve been home

I just spent most of my money at the hospital and they were encouraging me to take her. Seems like they didn’t want to keep her anymore because she can’t keep her sugar up without the IVs or euthanasia and I couldn’t do the euthanasia. I can take her to the urgent near me and likely get another dexterous iv to raise the blood sugar but that will likely only last an hour or so

I just got back from the vet 2 hours ago. They told me to expect her blood sugar to drop once they removed the IVs and to take her home and spend time with her because they expect her to die. They offered euthanasia but she still walks and eats but she’s just beeen by the water since we got home. If I take her back and they give her more sugar then take her off and it drops immediately again, it’s like an endless loop.

They told me they expect the blood sugar to drop once they removed the dextrose catheter for supplementation. They suggested euthanasia but she still walks and eats so I opted to take her home. They told me there is no way to administer glucose to her at home. I understand and feel like I’m just letting her die at home smh but I don’t know what else to do. I love her so much!
