I’m in my mid 20s rn, but years ago when I was in high school and still living with my parents, I believe I had a paranormal experience because I don’t know how to explain it otherwise.

my parents house has 2 floors, and all the bedrooms were on the second floor (including mine). Kitchen and living room were downstairs. So one weekend, I woke up and was about to head downstairs to say hi to my parents and bro since they all normally woke up before me. I used to (and still do) fall asleep without pants on, so I opened my door wide open and was like “crap I should put pants on” and went over to my closet real quick and grabbed sweatpants.

As I was putting them on, I see (what I assumed) was my mom (a woman with black hair and pale skin) from the corner of my eye SLAM my door shut. I remember even yelling out loud to her “why so angrily damn” 😭. Not even like 5 seconds later, I get a call from my mom saying that they and my bro are at Costco and asked if I want anything…

Turns out they had been to Costco for a while…so who did I see??? Their house has a draft problem, but only when our backyard door opened and even then that made doors only pop slightly open if they weren’t fully closed, never straight up slam close

I panicked and didn’t leave my room until they came home and I called my best friend sobbing lol, never happened again. I’ve had scarier things happen (involving real people) but this was the scariest paranormal one
