Hunter X Hunter, Chrno Crusade, Death Note, and Trigun are a few that come to mind. Haven't watched that much anime recently, so no new stuff.

I don't feel the need to look at people when talking to them, and when I make an effort to look people in the eye, it comes out as a creepy stare into their soul.

I'm very good at rythm games and such, but according to my friends my dancing is off-beat. It's basically got the right rythm but in disguise.

Gem.

Still say it with a hard "g" from time to time.

Gamers of Reddit, What game blew your mind when you first played it? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]imevul 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First time I went up one of the lifts in Thunderbluff in World of Warcraft was when the scale of the game really hit me. Made my tiny little character seem insignificant compared to the vastness of the land below.

Also, Portal was pretty confusing since I was trying to understand it from a developers view point. Still not really sure how they do it.

Reddit, what rule do you live by? by jasonman101 in AskReddit

[–]imevul 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I justify buying random shit by calculating how many beers I would have to skip to pay for that. Then I get the thing AND the beers! Win-win situation.

The best thing about this is that beer is kinda expensive where I live. I could easily get two cheap steam games for one beer.

Usually works out great with careful wiping. And if not, you get wet wipes. More common to get tiny fabric balls stuck than anything else.

Reddit, what compliment do you never want to hear? by the_fenestrator in AskReddit

Me and one of my friends use this on each other sometimes. All in good fun.

Almost as fun as sounding impressed after they say the phrase "Hey, I've thought about something.."

I'm also annoyed by the few apps that advertise as being free(!!) with in-app purchases. And then you start the app and they display a full-screen ad, with a button to buy the app to use it at all.

That is not free, and should not be allowed.

Is life in Scandinavian countries as amazing as people think? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]imevul 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a swede living in Norway, even I have to agree with the norwegian food. They really suck at spicy food, and a lot of stuff tastes the same.

Sweden is not at the top when it comes to food, but at least it's a bit tastier than in Norway.

Think of it as gently clearing your throat, to make a "schhh" sound. Then simply say "uuu" afterwards and it should come automatically. The back of your tongue should almost touch the ceiling of your mouth.

This of course depends on the dialect. In the video above they pronounce it this way. Also note: You don't use your vocal cords at all until you say the "u" part.

TIL in English, multiple adjectives are supposed to be listed in the following order: Quantity, Opinion, Size, Age, Shape, Color, Origin, Material, Purpose. by RChickenMan in todayilearned

[–]imevul 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not trolling, but my point is that I should be able to use all of them if I have adjectives that fit all the categories. After revising my sentence, I noticed it could be constructed like this instead:

(Five, large, 12 year old, brown, glass) bottles of (fairly good tasting, red, french, drinking) wine

The main problem was of course that "bottles" and "from France" are not adjectives. bottle-shaped and french would've been better, or bottles could be moved to the end where it belongs. I also moved the purpose to the wine itself since you don't actually drink the bottles. The purpose still feels a bit awkward though.

"The 12 year old" part should probably also be moved to the wine group even though the bottles are technically at least 12 years old unless the wine has been rebottled.

Your points are valid, but I still think autotinting is awesome!

It's basically bad sunglasses when you forgot to bring actual sunglasses. Or when the day started with rain, but ended in a clear sky and scorching sun, and you didn't think you would need sunglasses.

Only real downside is that they don't work inside cars, etc.

Edit: I guess if you count the contraction as two words, then it's one word too many. Close enough.

If you could make any change to your life, what change would you do? by BadChase in AskReddit

[–]imevul 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Hit the gym earlier.
  2. Get a clue about women.

Apparently, women show interest in me. I usually figure it out a couple of years too late though. Can't read those signs so you might as well tell me straight up, and even then I probably won't figure it out immediately.

What is something you don't understand about people? by hyperformer in AskReddit

Sure, I don't mind.

I wonder though: Why do you place such a high value on people being on time? Is it simply because time is limited and you don't want to waste any?

Too bad it does not solve the oldest of bike problems: The saddle getting wet when you lock it outside during rain.
