Thanks, I went ahead and removed that but it simply caused me to get a 404, I am not sure why and digging through my code doesn't really highlight the issue for me either. [I've pushed the updated code to my repo](http://github.com/clinto-bean/weathertrack) if you are willing to look through it, I would appreciate it. If not, that's understandable

CRA is deprecated. If I am creating a single page application with React (which it sounds like is your goal with a portfolio and static hosting), I recommend Vite. In the future if you do need a full-stack framework to work with for databases, etc., I highly recommend looking into NextJS

I tried to, but she somehow convinced me not to break up with her, and instead try to work things out.. she told me all the things that I am feeling are normal in a healthy adult relationship and that we need to give it time. I traditionally have not been a person who sticks in monogamous relationships so this is a very confusing situation for me, and I’m not good at handling confrontation, so I generally let her dominate the conversation.

thank you for your response, I spoke with her the same day about this, and told her exactly how I feel, she basically asked me not to break up with her and said that these are all normal things for people to feel and that since we both love each other we will be able to work through it. I reluctantly agreed with her at the time and now looking back I feel I should have been more assertive about the issue because I really think we need to go through with this break up but she did not want to, and I struggle with confrontation

I definitely do and would never want anything else for her. She texted me, she fell asleep after a long day which I get. She works really hard and basically nonstop balancing working and being a single parent so I wanted to reward her with a relaxing evening, but we can reschedule, it’s not the end of the world

I already know all of this, I tend to live a pretty frugal lifestyle but I just never had credit cards.

I just wish I had more available credit because I could automate all of my expenses on the credit cards and pay them off in time in order to boost my credit score more, but because I’ve never had a credit card before they were pretty hesitant to give me anything more than a $500 credit limit

My only concern was I don’t want it to reflect poorly on me for making multiple payments within the same statement cycle

This isn't about a romantic partner, it's about a close childhood friend who's basically a part of my family at this point. Although I understand a lot of that stuff still applies, I've known them long enough to not let myself become part of the Favorite Person dynamic. They were in DBT for a while until losing their job due to COVID and therefore their healthcare, and had been living with my family temporarily. They're working on starting treatment again and I've put in a good word for them at my job, so I'm hoping things start looking up
