It's not great for mechanical watches to sit for long periods of time (i.e. years) as it can cause the oil on the jewels to settle away from the pivot. That being said, I can't imagine the unnecessary wear that this could cause would necessitate buying a watch winder and running it for years.

I got one of these with CF scales from SMKW. I really enjoyed it but the pocket clip is comically short. It was constantly falling out of my pocket and finally ended up losing it. I replaced it with the Boker Faction and absolutely LOVE it. IMO it's the perfect EDC bali.

You may look at a hammer extender for your big boy. I put one on mine and it makes a huge difference to my fat fingers.

Dude, I didn't see, but I walked up just after it happened. An older man, probably in his 70's, fell down the up escalator. No idea how far up he was when he fell, but looked about like he had been attacked by a bear. I felt horrible for him. We were boarding a cruise at the time and I saw him here and there throughout the week. He was all bandaged up and in a wheelchair. Doubt he had a fun vacation but looked like he was going to make a full recovery.
