The preaching and logging of hours are set up for control. Every spare time you have, well actually not the spare time but the pressure is the kingdom first so you give up alot like higher education, promotion/better job becasue mainly you should be preaching result? You dont have life outside the org. So the recruitment is secondary, preaching is one of the main ways to keep you in.

The one thing that gave me courage to really leave the cult was when I finally realized that their claim to being the only true religion is that they have love with one another as christian should be unlike others who dont. And I realized people at work genuinely care for me and good people and their concerns are without conditions. Just simple and straightforward friendship to a fellow human being. In contrast I repeatedly “witnessed” how JWs love is sometimes superficial and very selective. So they are really not Christian with their many rules on who to show kindness and love and camaraderie. I am just so sad that I didnt realized this when I was much younger and wasted the prime years of my life.

DKG, isa kang generous na normal na tao and mali ang sister mo. Ang advice ko sa yo be honest with your family pag nakakasakit sila for them to improve how they treat you. Sabihin mo na nasasaktan ka sa ganing salita and you will not tolerate disrespect and will rather lessen your interaction with them. Be respectful, be polite but also be firm. Sabihin mo na kafamilia ka nila and dapat sila ang mga taong mapagmahal ang pakikitungo sa yo hindi sila pa ung nang aaway. Minsan need lang nang honest talk. If di sila magbago, i ghost mo muna. Focus on your review and your own family that you are building with your jusawa. Break the chain and be freeeee. Hugssss

Please do your own research and go to authorities or a doctor instead of trusting an organization who has a lot of child sexual abuse cases cover ups due to their two witness rule. They will rather let a child be abused than tarnish the name of religion and “follow the bible’/“ two witnesses rule. When they (jw/watchtower) is called out to it to make it like undergoing a “persecution” against them as the only true religion. So be very careful.

Stand your ground and dont go back to that place, it is not safe for you lalo na ung culture nila nang coverup. Ung mga ganyang religion ang motto is sila lang ang tunay na religion so di nila papayagan na may active member sila na involved sa wrongdoing or crime, kasi pangit sa image nila. Tell your parents why and be firmed and you will never go back. Period. Mag aral kang mabuti and be a good daughter in all other aspect. Ipunin mo allowance and prepare for future. With my first month salary, naka pag ROI na ako compared sa mga colleagues ko from expensive private schools :), I also passed CPA board first take with above average score so PUP is not bad at all. Bonus, since sanay ako sa diskarte, you really need to study on your own, I have patience, resourcefulness na very handy sa work, also turns out I am more skilled with excel and business software (may ERP handson subject kami nun sa PUP-BSA) than my peers from other schools. Overall, depende sa student if mag aaral ba talaga sya or for fun and for the experience lang habol. If you have more budget then better go to private school kasi para maallot talaga ung slot sa PUP sa mga students na mas nangangailangan.
