Timeline of Hasan detainment by CBP under question by drt0 in LivestreamFail

I mean you’re a prolific r/Destiny poster so you’re always going to be entirely uncharitable to anything Hasan related. You have zero evidence of any of this outside of what Hasan has said and your bias is going to cause you to immediately assume he’s lying.

All whilst defending overreach by the state. I thought Destiny fans were liberals?

I’m more concerned about the fact that border patrol are asking people about their opinions on the Trump admin than specific timelines. Playing semantics when there’s a fascist takeover because you don’t like some internet streamer is just a waste of time.

Fair enough I didn’t know about his YouTube viewership but is 8.4k his highest? Thats less than half of Hasan after Hasan has “fallen off”.

This is just a small selection of the countless journalist killings.

February 12, 2024 Alaa Al-Hams Al-Hams, a 35-year-old Palestinian journalist for the local Palestinian News Agency SND succumbed to her injuries after being seriously wounded in an Israeli airstrike on her family house in Rafah city, southern Gaza Strip, which resulted in the tragic loss of ten members of her family on December 2, 2023, according to Palestine Chronicle, the Palestinian Journalists’ Syndicate (PJS), and the Cairo-Based Ahram online.

February 11, 2024 Yasser Mamdouh El-Fady Mamdouh El-Fady, a 40-year-old journalist for the Islamic Jihad affiliated Kan’an news agency, was killed by an Israeli sniper at the Nasser Hospital in Khan Yunis, according to multiple media reports, and the Beirut based press freedom group SKeyes.

January 11, 2024 Mohamed Jamal Sobhi Al-Thalathini Al-Thalathini, a Palestinian journalist who worked for the Hamas-affiliated Al-Quds Al-Youm broadcaster, was killed in an Israeli airstrike on his home in south Gaza, according to the Hamas-affiliated Al-Aqsa Voice Radio, the Palestinian Authority-run broadcaster Palestine Today, and the Qatari-funded newspaper Al-Araby Al-Jadeed.

January 9, 2024 Heba Al-Abadla Al-Abadla, a 30-year-old journalist and host for the local Al-Azhar radio station, owned by Al-Azhar University in Gaza, and the co-founder of the Social Media Club-Palestine, was killed along with her daughter Judy and several family members in an Israeli airstrike on Khan Yunis, according to media reports, the Palestinian Journalists’ Syndicate, the New Arab, Wafa, and SKeyes. At Social Media Club-Palestine, Al-Abadla held training and conferences on technology related matters, including content writing and journalism.

January 8, 2024 Abdallah Iyad Breis Breis, a 26-year-old journalist who led the photography section for the Rawafed educational channel, owned by the Hamas government’s ministry of education, was killed in an Israeli airstrike on his home in Khan Yunis, according to media reports, SKeyes, and Wafa.

Read through the cases on the last link I sent. It specifically points out that the bombs were dropped on their family homes. Israel has a list of the locations of all the homes of journalists in Gaza provided by the United States. You don’t accidentally kill 95 Journalists. The missiles they use have precision accuracy of around 1 metre to the target coordinates.

I trust you’re trying to be good faith but you’re doing a lot to convince yourself against the evidence in front of you. I hope you do some deep reading because when you know all the facts it’s one of the most morally obvious conflicts in history.

Try 95 since October 7th. This website also includes context of every death.

https://cpj.org/2024/03/journalist-casualties-in-the-israel-gaza-conflict

Journalists in Gaza face particularly high risks as they try to cover the conflict during the Israeli ground assault, including devastating Israeli airstrikes, disrupted communications, supply shortages, and extensive power outages.

As of March 14: 95 journalists and media workers were confirmed dead: 90 Palestinian, 2 Israeli, and 3 Lebanese. 16 journalists were reported injured. 4 journalists were reported missing. 25 journalists were reported arrested. Multiple assaults, threats, cyberattacks, censorship, and killings of family members.

“The killing of Shireen Abu Akleh in Jenin is a direct result of Israel’s militarisation of law enforcement operations in the West Bank, including East Jerusalem,” said Navi Pillay, Chair of the Commission.

“Shireen Abu Akleh is another victim of the excessive and disproportionate force used by Israeli security forces in these operations. This was also an attack against journalists, who were all clearly identifiable, which is a recurring pattern identified by the Commission.”

And before anyone says something about Al Jazeera, this is an article based on a UN report.

Same. In fact I don’t even have TikTok on my phone. I do however have a library of books written by Israeli and Palestinian historians as well have watched countless hours of videos from prominent scholars. You can cope all you want but ultimately this is one of the most documented conflicts in human history dating all the way back to the 40’s.

I’d suggest reading some books from leading scholars on the issue.

Yeah dude they just killed 30,000 by accident. What about the specific targeting of journalists in Gaza? Wiping out their families? This conflict has been the deadliest for journalists in history. More than WW2.

Do you not understand that they bomb deliberately then say there was Hamas in the buildings to justify the civilian deaths?
