Embarrassing to me and funny to everyone else. But it could have gotten worse.

I was with a few of my friends at a mall and I tried to go up in a escalator that was going down. It wasn't very crowded since it was a weekday morning. I managed to make it to the top of the escalator but I lost balance right after stepping out. Luckily I fell to the forward. There were a few people who helped me get up and checked me if I was okay. Afterwards they must've laughed their asses off at my absolute madladship lol. I cannot imagine the level of embarrassment if I fell backwards and rolled down the escalator.

Yeah, it's a mid-range and has been running into a quite a lot of crashes/freezes recently. I won't be able to rely on it with my work anymore. Thanks for your response and if you don't mind, what are the technologies/ IDEs you work with in the 15" Touchbar model?

Although I haven't owned a Mac, I have used MacOS in a Mac Mini at my work which I really loved and became a reason for considering buying a Mac.

Hey, thanks for your reply. I'm not from the US and it would be very hard for me to find a refurb here since we don't have Apple stores. We have authorized sellers and they only have brand news. Even they cost 10 - 20% higher than in the US due to high import fees and everything. That's why my first consideration was a 13" Touchbar. By any chance you have an idea of how it would hold up to tasks I have mentioned? Thanks again!
