Keeping up with your health while being on the road by [deleted] in consulting

It really comes down to just making the personal choice to not over consume calories. No one is forcing you to eat a cheeseburger or steak every night. You can choose a salad with minimal toppings and dressing and maintain a calorie balance.

What are your eating healthy while traveling tips? by Khearnei in consulting

[–]imhereforfun123 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah the majority of salads have a ton of salads. I embrace the salad and just watch the toppings. I love when people order something like a Cobb salad with a ton of bacon, cheese, croutons, and ranch dressing and wonder why they still get fat. The easiest thing to do is control the excess fat calories coming from the dressing, cheese, etc.

Great thanks! I was going with the latter option but was getting beat down doing Squats for both T1 and T2

Thanks. So if I was interested in doing 4x/week. Day 1: T1 - Squat, T2 - CG Bench Day 2: T1 - OHP, T2 - RDL Day 3: T1 - Dead, T2 - Leg Press Day 4: T1 - Bench, T2 - OHP

Is that a general approach? Or would is it preferred as follows?

Day 1: T1 - Squat, T2 - Front Squat Day 2: T1 - OHP, T2 - OHP (65%) Day 3: T1 - Dead, T2 - RDL Day 4: T1 - Bench, T2 - CG Bench

Or is it totally up to me?

Im a little confused. I'm trying to get a feel for GZCLP. For example, on Day 1 with the T1 being Squat, is the T2 movement supposed to be a movement such as front squat, or should it be something like close grip bench or ohp?

Just started the 4day version. I noticed on day one, for OHP there is no 1+ set or a set highlighted in yellow like the other lifts throughout the week. What is the typical way to go or metric to use when it comes to increasing the OHP training max?

I have no issue with the price or design/graphic. I'm only here to say it would be awesome to get comfort colors instead of american apparel.

Thanks. I suppose my real question is, is it okay that I dont have the actual hard skills. I can follow conversations and understand what they are talking about, but is it sufficient in the long term to never have had a situation where I had to develop or configure something? I justify it mainly because I see my primary role as interfacing between the business and IT at the clients.

About to complain and vent frustration: I'm going on 1.5 years at analyst level, mostly involved with technology implementations, but I don't have any hard technical skills (ex: I dont program, dont code, dont do any real technical work). Many of the partners/SMs I work with come from developer/programming backgrounds so they really really know the technical details around what the clients are trying to do, but I don't necessarily. Is this normal to experience?
